Apply iconography to make complex content more digestible. Like every element in our brand toolkit, iconography must be created and applied consistently and intentionally. Our icon style is clean, minimal stroke accents when necessary. Additional icons can be sourced from a royalty-free library of icons. When sourcing icons from an external source, ensure you are following proper style and color application.
Don’t distort, stretch, or skew icon proportions by changing the ratio.
Don’t vary stroke weight and ensure icons are optically balance.
Don’t use other colors for the fill that might limit accessibility.
Don’t use iconography that combines more than one color.
Don’t add effects to the iconography such as drop shadows, glows, etc.
Don’t use filled iconography.
